I am in the process of re-clearing this old trail. I rode on it with my dad as a <br />
kid, but it's pretty badly overgrown now. I have left the trailhead <br />
overgrown where the street dead-ends, but you should have no trouble <br />
locating the trail and it clears up quite a bit about 20 feet into the woods. <br />
My plans are to clear the trail most of the way to the stream at the back of <br />
the woods, then eventually connect it with a trail of similar condition <br />
originating at the end of Argyll Rd to the North. When finished the trail <br />
should be a loop of around .6 miles off road and .2 miles on road. There is <br />
a lot of room in these legally undevelopable woods for other trails to be <br />
made, but it will take a good amount of effort to clear a path. There is good <br />
trail potential with generally flat terrain and some nice elevation changes. <br />
If you would like to come help with path-clearing and the cut-across to the <br />

From Raeford Rd, turn on McPherson Church Rd, then take the fourth right <br /><br />onto Murray Hill Rd. Take your first right off Murray Hill Rd onto Jura Drive, and <br /><br />follow Jura until it dead ends.
